BEHIND THE LENS
I've been dreaming of making movies since I was a toddler in Russellville, Arkansas, putting on little plays I created for the other kids in my day care and classes at school. Now that I live in California, I'm trying to make my dream a reality. Before Los Angeles, I lived outside of San Francisco, which is where I started my career as an actor. My parents saw how driven I was so they helped me land an agent when I was 12 years old, 1 year after moving to California. From there, I started working in the Bay Area doing commericals, on-camera, radio, and voice over. After having success there, we decided to make the move to Los Angeles to be in the heart of the entertainment industry. Right off the bat, I did a few student and short films (one of which received quite a few awards in a local film festival) to build up my experience and resume. Once I finished high school, I decided to continue my love of storytelling behind the camera and delve into college as a film major. I completed my Associate of Art's degree at Pierce College and have transferred to California State University, Northridge Film School where I'm working on my bachelor's.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy many other creative and non-creative fields. I've been training in dance, singing, archery, writing, drawing, martial arts, and many more. I get a lot of pleasure in learning new skills and working at them until I can be considered good before moving on to a new competency. It's very important to me to do my best in the things I start, so I've created a very interesting skill set for myself!
